What began as a dispute at an airport in Togo soon evolved into a much larger conversation about mobility across Africa. After an encounter with immigration officers unexpectedly helped spark a landmark visa-free announcement for Africans, immigration attorney and law professor Channel Andrews found herself at the center of debates around Pan-African movement, diaspora identity, and the barriers that continue to shape travel across the continent.
